Virgin V Festival Crime Reduction Initiative With Mobile Marketing Ad-pods
Ad-Pods have been successfully used to promote major artists by giving away free music downloads such as mp3′s, wallpapers and has been used to promote artists websites at some of the biggest UK music festivals such as Glastonbury, V-Festival, Reading and Leeds Festival, O2 Wireless, T in the Park and the Download Festival to name a few. This worked out to be 14% of the total festival visitors downloading these adverts.

Apple recently filed a patent that shows they intend to use NFC technology to buy music in iTunes.
This is great news because the iPhone 5 is due for release on the 3rd Quarter of 2012 and this is when NFC will go mass market as apple will do what apple do best and educate the public on how they can easily use new technology…. speaking as a mac user this is why we love apple.
The adoption rate of NFC is on a massive upward curve with all the latest android phones like the Samsung Galaxy Nexus having NFC as well as the latest Blackberry handsets so NFC is growing in numbers of hundreds of thousands per month.
